- For the Saturday shoot, I lead the shooting. Our first location was Haysden park. We filmed in the woods here in the morning to get the rippling light off the trees. All of these shots were steadicam shots and all moving. It was successful as we managed to get many good shots.
- However we struggled with the lighting as it could be glaring on the lense and detract from the framing of the shot. We overcame this by choosing precise angles in which the sun did not affect our shots.
- Other issues we faced was filming in public places with the public. To deal with this we managed to wait for quieter times of the day and choose spots where there were less people.
- The time-lapse is a gamble as we took one shoot of two extras and then another of actor A just sitting at the table on her own looking solemn. This will therefore aim to show her detachment from her friends. The struggle we had with this was being able to judge how long to shoot for. We had trouble with this shot as we have included parts in which after affects will not respond to very well. therefore we may need to film this again.
- We used techniques such as over the shoulder shots and tracking shots.
- We were going to use the swings as a location of shots. However we felt that the shot was too childish. this added to the fact that the shot angle was ruined by a car park.
- The other location in which we filmed was Anna's, character As house. This was a good location as her room had lots of detail and creative feel within it.
- The other good thing about this location was that we had the control of the light and no interference from the public therefore allowing us to specifically do longer and more intricate shots. For example tracking around and into a camera frame of which character A was holding.
