Purpose
- The purpose of the trip to Brighton was to practice different shots that we intend to use in our real music video. For example, we did a range of Long Shots, Close-Ups, High and Low Angle shots and Handicam shots.
- It also allowed us to work together as a group for the first time. This allowed us to see each others strengths and how we can make sure we will work to our full potential as a group.
- We also want to use Brighton as a location for our music video, so we went to the locations we are considering to film at. These locations are: The beach and the pier.
What went well
- As a group I think we worked well together and all had good ideas to contribute.
- We were able to film in internal and external locations
- We now know that we want to use Brighton as a location and want to film at the pier and the beach
Editing in class
We have started editing our footage from Brighton. This will give us the opportunity to also see each other's strengths in editing. During the lesson, we had problems uploading out footage due to faulty card readers but we have managed to put the majority of it on there. We will continue in the next lesson to edit our footage and make a mini music video. We are in the process of discussing tracks to use for our Brighton Video.
We also have some good stills that we will use for the digi-pack promotion.
